Community Standards & Ethics
The rules and principles that keep Ascendoria fair, professional, and trustworthy for all members.
Community Conduct Standards
- Treat all members with respect. Harassment, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind is strictly prohibited.
- Do not spam, flood, or post irrelevant content in community forums or messages.
- Engage in constructive discussions. Personal attacks, trolling, or inflammatory behavior will not be tolerated.
- Respect privacy. Do not share another member's personal information without consent.
- Do not impersonate other users or create fake accounts.
- Report violations rather than retaliating. Use the reporting tools available on profiles and content.
Project Posting Rules
- Job postings must describe real, available work. Placeholder or test posts are not allowed.
- Clearly define project scope, deliverables, budget, and timeline in the project description.
- Do not post projects that violate laws or intellectual property rights.
- Do not request free work or unpaid samples as part of the application process.
- Companies must fund escrow before contract activation. No off-platform payment requests.
- Required ranks must be set honestly. Do not inflate requirements to artificially filter applicants.
- Each published job advertisement is currently مجاناً · Free. Early adopter companies receive free ad credits.
Professional Code of Ethics
- Deliver work that meets the agreed-upon scope and quality standards.
- Communicate promptly and professionally with clients and collaborators.
- Meet deadlines. If delays are unavoidable, notify the other party as early as possible.
- Do not plagiarize or misrepresent others' work as your own.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and project details.
- Honor contract terms. Do not abandon projects after escrow is funded.
- Provide honest reviews and ratings. Do not manipulate reviews through collusion or coercion.
- Disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect your work or judgment.
Violation Consequences
- Warning: First minor violations receive a formal warning. Repeated warnings may escalate.
- Content Removal: Violating posts, topics, or portfolio items will be removed.
- Temporary Ban: Serious or repeated violations result in a temporary account suspension.
- Permanent Ban: Severe violations (fraud, harassment, fake profiles) result in permanent removal from the platform.
- Rank Reset: Violating the skill verification process (cheating, impersonation) results in rank reset and potential ban.
- Fund Forfeiture: Security deposits may be forfeited for contract violations or escrow fraud.
- All actions are reviewed by moderators and can be appealed through the support system.
