Dispute Resolution Policy
The internal mechanism for managing disagreements between users.

1. Opening a Dispute
Either party to a project, contract, or contest may open a dispute through the Dispute Center, providing the reason, a description, the linked project or order, the amount in question, evidence files, relevant messages, and the requested resolution. The other party is notified and given an opportunity to respond.
2. Negotiation Period
Before platform intervention, both parties have a negotiation period during which they can exchange messages and files, propose a resolution, and accept or reject proposals. Most disagreements are best resolved directly between the parties.
3. Escalation & Platform Review
If no agreement is reached, either party may escalate the dispute to Ascendoria's team, which reviews the available record: the project agreement and description, on-platform messages, files and deliverables, deadlines and milestones, payment records, project rules, and submitted evidence — then issues an internal platform decision.
4. Limits of Platform Decisions
Ascendoria's dispute mechanism is an internal platform mechanism for managing activity on the platform. It is not a court, arbitration body, or legal judgment, and an Ascendoria decision does not replace a court ruling or legal arbitration. Neither party is prevented from exercising any legal right before the competent authorities, to the extent permitted by law. Ascendoria cannot legally compel any person to perform a contract; where a party does not cooperate, available platform measures may be applied (account restriction, feature suspension, transaction holds, removal of privileges).
5. Evidence & Integrity
The original project brief, proposal, agreement, messages, files, deliveries, revision history, payment records, timestamps, and user actions relevant to a dispute are retained so there is a clear record. Important events are logged and cannot be edited after the fact. Deliberately falsifying evidence or manipulating records is a serious violation that may lead to account closure.
6. Non-Cooperation & Reviews
Refusing to cooperate with dispute procedures is recorded and may lead to account measures under the Terms (warning, restriction, suspension, review, closure) according to severity. Using ratings as a threat during a dispute is prohibited; abusive reviews may be reported and removed.
